Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Tony de Salles got the match started through his kick off. The Marília AC fans' excitement grew in the 3rd match minute when Marília AC's Geronimo Ignatius looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Tomás Marques had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Geronimo Ignatius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thiago Camargo hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. 15 minutes into the game, Marília AC's Geronimo Ignatius nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Filipe Netto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 22nd minute, Geronimo Ignatius made a precise shot to the right of Filipe Netto. Maraja's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Marília AC's Jacinto Loureiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Marília AC from getting a goal against them. Maraja's Filipe Netto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geronimo Ignatius in the 32nd minute of play. Geronimo Ignatius recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Abel Barros kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. After 36 minutes, Olavo Leal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Maraja and the Marília AC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 36th match minute, Maraja was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olavo Leal to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 38 minutes, Geronimo Ignatius managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Marília AC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Geronimo Ignatius was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Geronimo Ignatius fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filipe Netto having to interfere. Filipe Netto came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Marília AC's Geronimo Ignatius. But to his dismay, Geronimo Ignatius quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Geronimo Ignatius made a kick off. In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind Maraja's goalkeeper Filipe Netto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Filipe Netto came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Marília AC's Geronimo Ignatius. But to his dismay, Geronimo Ignatius quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Filipe Netto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Geronimo Ignatius's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. Marília AC's Eriberto Lucas was substituted for Geronimo Ignatius. Marília AC's Raúl Carioca was substituted for Betinho Souto. Olavo Leal hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Filipe Netto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eriberto Lucas in the 67th minute of the match. Maraja's Filipe Netto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Akın Seccac in the 68th minute of play. Luisinho Leme hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Marília AC made a substitution. Renatinho de Souza replaced Akın Seccac. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eriberto Lucas got free with Filipe Netto in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Filipe Netto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eriberto Lucas in the 74th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 77 minutes, Eriberto Lucas put it in 0-7 from a short distance just to the right of Filipe Netto. Filipe Netto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eriberto Lucas went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-8 was the resulting score. With a little luck, Maraja's Filipe Netto got control of the ball when Eriberto Lucas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Maraja's Filipe Netto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eriberto Lucas in the 90th minute of play. Luisinho Leme kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Filipe Netto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eriberto Lucas in the 94th minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Marília AC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Maraja.
