Túlio Veiga scored 0-3 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Filipe Netto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Luisinho Leme's late challenge caught a Palestrinos F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luisinho Leme helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Maraja getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Luisinho Leme hit a great ball. Túlio Veiga took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Filipe Netto. Filipe Netto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. When Palestrinos F.C's Jeremias Moreira in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Maraja's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Maraja's Betão Vergílio got a free kick in the 29th minute. Jeremias Moreira struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Filipe Netto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Palestrinos F.C. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jeremias Moreira in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Filipe Netto saved Maraja from getting behind. Filipe Netto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jeremias Moreira's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. After having played for 35 minutes, Filipe Braga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Palestrinos F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Filipe Braga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 37 played minutes Maraja got a freekick which was hit by Betão Vergílio. In the 40th match minute, Palestrinos F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Túlio Veiga to maneuver through the defense. If Túlio Veiga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Filipe Netto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeremias Moreira in the 44th minute of the match. In the 45th match minute, Maraja was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albertinho Vasconcelos to maneuver through the defense. Disappointed in the 0-6 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tony de Salles to strike the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Maraja got a freekick which was hit by Albertinho Vasconcelos. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Maraja's goalkeeper Filipe Netto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Palestrinos F.C's Túlio Veiga was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 55th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 60th minute, Túlio Veiga fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Filipe Netto, passed just outside the right post. Duarte da Silva was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 62 minutes into the match. The referee gave Palestrinos F.C a penalty, 64 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Percy Pires, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Maraja's Filipe Netto. 0-8. With his leg Filipe Netto managed to avoid a goal in the 67thth minute, when Palestrinos F.C's Jeremias Moreira fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Filipe Netto was a little too slow when Jeremias Moreira got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 71st minute. The score was now 0-10. After 74 played minutes Maraja got a freekick which was hit by Tony de Salles. The supporters of Palestrinos F.C booed when Maraja was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Betão Vergílio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maraja's Filipe Netto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Maraja from getting a goal against them. If Filipe Braga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Túlio Veiga was extremely unlucky when he, in the 85th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Jeremias Moreira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Filipe Braga kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 88thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Maraja's keeper Filipe Netto was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Túlio Veiga received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Filipe Netto came out and tried to block the shot, but Túlio Veiga slotted it home off the left post making it 0-11 in the 89th minute. In the 93rdth minute of the game Túlio Veiga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Maraja's Filipe Netto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Palestrinos F.C's Túlio Veiga in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Maraja's goalie prevented a goal. If Túlio Veiga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 97th minute, Palestrinos F.C's Túlio Veiga dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-12. When the final whistle sounded Palestrinos F.C left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Maraja.
