André Azevedo was slow to take the kick. During this time Fala Sério FC's players had a chance to rest. Fala Sério FC's André Azevedo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Eliseu Lira in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Perivaldo Sanches fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Afonsinho Marques having to interfere. Afonsinho Marques showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joaquim de Queirós, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kauan Santos to strike the kick off in the second half. After 60 minutes, Joaquim de Queirós mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Só de Fula F.C. and the Fala Sério FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 60th match minute, Só de Fula F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joaquim de Queirós to maneuver through the defense. André Azevedo might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eliseu Lira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eliseu Lira was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Kauan Santos showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 80 minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 95th minute by Raimundo Pernambucano got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Fala Sério FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
