If André Azevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Filomeno Revuelta's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Afonsinho Marques was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. In the 12th minute of the match Itaretama got a corner. Fala Sério FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tao Si Feng ran over to the corner to take the kick. Tao Si Feng made a great header on Itaretama's corner, it was just that Fala Sério FC's Afonsinho Marques managed to reach the ball for a save. With a little luck, Itaretama's Rubens Moura got control of the ball when Kauan Santos tried to sneak it across the goal line. 28 minutes into the game, Fala Sério FC's André Azevedo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rubens Moura made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kauan Santos in the 32nd minute of play forced Itaretama's goalkeeper Rubens Moura to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anselmo de Castro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 39th minute, André Azevedo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 45 minutes into the match, André Azevedo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rubens Moura. Itaretama's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that André Azevedo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kauan Santos to strike the kick off in the second half. If Anselmo de Castro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 54 played minutes Itaretama got a freekick which was hit by Egídio de Amaral. Anselmo de Castro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Rubens Moura tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 59 minutes of play, Itaretama's Filomeno Revuelta made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Afonsinho Marques was left in no man's land by his defense there! Itaretama's Rubens Moura played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kauan Santos in the 63rd minute of play. Rubens Moura showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anselmo de Castro, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Fala Sério FC's Reynaldo Prestes was substituted for Pedro Moraes. Karl Kaaaas hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Itaretama's Rubens Moura played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kauan Santos in the 74th minute of play. Anselmo de Castro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Fala Sério FC's Kauan Santos got a free kick in the 83rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raimundo Pernambucano in the 85th minute of play forced Itaretama's goalkeeper Rubens Moura to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 93 minutes into the match, Fala Sério FC's goal looked a bit too open when Filomeno Revuelta came free, but Afonsinho Marques reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Fala Sério FC's Régis de Amorim got a free kick in the 94th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raimundo Pernambucano in the 95th minute of play forced Itaretama's goalkeeper Rubens Moura to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Fala Sério FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Itaretama had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
