Grêmio Carvoeiro FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Samuel Vander was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Efrain Salamon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severino Simão in the 11th minute of play forced Grêmio Carvoeiro FC's goalkeeper Vinícius Gomes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 12 minutes of play, Celtic FC's Lu Zheng Lei made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vinícius Gomes was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the Grêmio Carvoeiro FC defense, Lu Zheng Lei kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vinícius Gomes. In the 33rdth minute of the game Pedro Augusto Garcia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Grêmio Carvoeiro FC's Vinícius Gomes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Celtic FC's Severino Simão got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Vinícius Gomes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Augusto Garcia, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. In the 44th minute, Giovanni Bueno got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vinícius Gomes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Severino Simão went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pedro Augusto Garcia was the one to do the kick off. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Giovanni Bueno took a quick shot and it went in 0-7 without a chance for Vinícius Gomes to make any attempt to save it. Vinícius Gomes was out of position in the 58 minute of play, and Pedro Augusto Garcia capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal.
