In the 10th minute, Bebeto Queirós ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Almir Miranda was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 13thth minute of the game Germano Siqueira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Planet Caravan's Waldir Peres was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Almir Miranda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilvan Quirino in the 18th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Mitnarotov FC's goal looked a bit too open when Waldir Ferraz came free, but Almir Miranda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Waldir Peres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Germano Siqueira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24th match minute, Planet Caravan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilvan Quirino to maneuver through the defense. Sílvio Dantas kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. If Enrique de Medeiros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. When Waldir Ferraz in the 39th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Almir Miranda kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 3-0 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. The supporters of Planet Caravan booed when Mitnarotov FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulysses de Moraes didn't get a good kick on the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Waldir Ferraz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Almir Miranda having to interfere. The supporters of Planet Caravan booed when Mitnarotov FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lenílson Velasco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mitnarotov FC's Almir Miranda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Waldir Ferraz in the 59th minute of play. Almir Miranda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Waldir Ferraz in the 63rd minute of the match. Enrique de Medeiros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Almir Miranda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 66th minute, Enrique de Medeiros made a precise shot to the right of Almir Miranda. Mitnarotov FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Planet Caravan's Waldir Peres proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Planet Caravan from getting a goal against them. Planet Caravan were awarded a corner in the 81th minute after Mitnarotov FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Waldir Ferraz took the corner. Planet Caravan's Waldir Ferraz was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Almir Miranda in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 83 minutes into the match, Mitnarotov FC's goal looked a bit too open when Waldir Ferraz came free, but Almir Miranda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Enrique de Medeiros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee ended the match the Planet Caravan players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
