Spectators: 7811 (Terracing: 5860, Seating: 1796, VIP seats: 155) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Franciszek Kiewra got the match started through his kick off. São José E. C.'s 胡思朋 got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, São José E. C.'s Steff Tholand got a free kick in the 4th minute. If Amancio Medero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carroll Mansfield fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Paulo Vaz having to interfere. In the 8th minute, Carroll Mansfield left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The GAÚCHO FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Raí Seco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zé Vaz in the 18th minute of the match. Amancio Medero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Amancio Medero's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luiz Paulo Vaz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. In the 27th match minute, São José E. C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zé Vaz to maneuver through the defense. In the 33rd minute of the game Fábio Marques made a throw-in which Amancio Medero played forward. The audience was convinced that 胡思朋's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Raí Seco was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. Amancio Medero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of GAÚCHO FC booed when São José E. C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vicente Souza didn't get a good kick on the ball. 43 minutes into the match, São José E. C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Amancio Medero came free, but Luiz Paulo Vaz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

GAÚCHO FC made a substitution. Ronaldo Correia replaced Amancio Medero. The wind increased when Lando Guazo made the kick off in the second half. Ulysses Dionísio made in the 56th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Lando Guazo however managed to control. Through an outstanding action, after 57 minutes, Luiz Paulo Vaz successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 64th minute Ronaldo Correia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Paulo Vaz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 65th minute, GAÚCHO FC's Tiran Centers ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Luiz Paulo Vaz. Luiz Paulo Vaz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. In the 68th minute Tiran Centers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Paulo Vaz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. São José E. C.'s Luiz Paulo Vaz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valério Netto in the 71st minute of play. Raí Seco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 胡思朋, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lando Guazo got free with Luiz Paulo Vaz in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ulysses Dionísio kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. In the 91st minute, Wanderson Velasco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 95 minutes into the match, Valério Netto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luiz Paulo Vaz. São José E. C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Valério Netto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Luiz Paulo Vaz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valério Netto in the 98th minute of the match. GAÚCHO FC played a much better game than São José E. C. and deserved their victory. The São José E. C. players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
