Spectators: 7736 (Terracing: 5806, Seating: 1780, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. 庞延帆 started the match with the kick off. After 5 minutes, Flávio Soeiro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ORION FC and the Olinda FMZ DMZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. Flávio Soeiro kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. 9 minutes into the match, ORION FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastião Perez came free, but Maurício Soeiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maurício Soeiro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sebastião Perez went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 15th minute, Jano Cerezo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ixidor Lelerre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jano Cerezo in the 20th minute of play. Maurício Soeiro came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Olinda FMZ DMZ's Sebastião Perez. But to his dismay, Sebastião Perez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Jano Cerezo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Ixidor Lelerre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 35 minutes into the match, Wanderson Gerber dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ixidor Lelerre, 1-2. In the 39th minute, Eduardo Savier reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ixidor Lelerre. The goal made the score 2-2. Maurício Soeiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raimundo Raymon in the 44th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Clemente Goiano to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, ORION FC's goalkeeper Maurício Soeiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Paulo José Bittencourt. 58 minutes into the match, Olinda FMZ DMZ's goal looked a bit too open when 庞延帆 came free, but Ixidor Lelerre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Paulo José Bittencourt could shoot a difficult shot in the 62nd minute, which Maurício Soeiro however easily saved by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by 庞延帆 in the 66th minute of play forced Olinda FMZ DMZ's goalkeeper Ixidor Lelerre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paulo José Bittencourt hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. 庞延帆 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ixidor Lelerre having to interfere. 72 minutes into the match, Sebastião Perez notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of ORION FC's Maurício Soeiro. Maurício Soeiro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 77 minutes into the match, Olinda FMZ DMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Eduardo Savier came free, but Ixidor Lelerre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ixidor Lelerre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jano Cerezo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sebastião Perez struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Maurício Soeiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Olinda FMZ DMZ. Sebastião Perez kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. In the 89th minute Jano Cerezo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ixidor Lelerre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Washington Meirelles hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the ORION FC defense, Clemente Goiano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Maurício Soeiro. The ORION FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Maurício Soeiro should have stopped the shot. The Olinda FMZ DMZ supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Olinda FMZ DMZ would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
