The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 27th minute, Ragıp Buyruk made a precise shot to the right of Maurício Soeiro. ORION FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fabricio Raymond during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Maurício Soeiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anestis Protopsaltis in the 40th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, RS Futebol Clube's Gilbert Ekström got a free kick in the 44th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by 庞延帆 in the 45th minute of play forced RS Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Michel Neuer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 47 minutes into the game, ORION FC's Jano Cerezo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Michel Neuer made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when 庞延帆 stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in RS Futebol Clube's zone, Jano Cerezo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Michel Neuer came out of the goal and Jano Cerezo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gilbert Ekström's late challenge caught a ORION FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gilbert Ekström helped the player get up and apologised. After 55 played minutes RS Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Gilbert Ekström. ORION FC's Washington Meirelles couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 56th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for RS Futebol Clube. In the 58th minute, Jano Cerezo fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Fabricio Raymond recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. RS Futebol Clube made a substitution. Celso Silva replaced Rubens Tinoco. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Jano Cerezo put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Michel Neuer. RS Futebol Clube's Michel Neuer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save RS Futebol Clube from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in RS Futebol Clube's zone, 庞延帆 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Michel Neuer came out of the goal and 庞延帆 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 82nd minute of the match Fabricio Raymond sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Maurício Soeiro skillfully saved the ball. ORION FC's Maurício Soeiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabricio Raymond in the 87th minute of play. 庞延帆 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Michel Neuer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ricardo Talló hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Maurinho Velasco kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched ORION FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
