The crowd rose to their feet as Jabaquara's Mete Gøl slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of 何笑鹏. That made the score 2-0 after 16 minutes of play. In the 19th play minute Mete Gol came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised 何笑鹏. 3-0. In the 22nd minute of the match, Ren Lin Xu tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but 何笑鹏 saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 23 played minutes Jabaquara got a freekick which was hit by Guto Fritz. Mete Gol could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but 何笑鹏 made a huge save. Hudson Alvarenga kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. 何笑鹏 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guto Fritz, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Ronaldinho Furlan hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. 45 minutes into the game, Ronaldinho Furlan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jabaquara's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave F.C Fribourg the free kick. After a rather tough play, Jabaquara's Ronaldinho Furlan got a free kick in the 45th minute. 何笑鹏 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mete Gøl in the 47th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lauro Carneiro to strike the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the F.C Fribourg defense, Samuel Varela kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of 何笑鹏. The F.C Fribourg fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that 何笑鹏 should have stopped the shot. 何笑鹏 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samuel Varela, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. In the 64th minute Mete Gol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 何笑鹏 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lauro Carneiro hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Mete Gol might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over 何笑鹏. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mete Gol ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to F.C Fribourg getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Pawel Betonowy hit a great ball. If Egídio Salgado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 76th minute, Dudu Breckenfeld hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 78 minutes, Ren Lin Xu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jabaquara's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ren Lin Xu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 82 minutes into the match, F.C Fribourg's goal looked a bit too open when Ren Lin Xu came free, but 何笑鹏 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mete Gøl in the 87th minute of play forced F.C Fribourg's goalkeeper 何笑鹏 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 89 minutes into the match, F.C Fribourg's goal looked a bit too open when Guto Fritz came free, but 何笑鹏 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Jabaquara players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
