In the 19th minute Marco Torres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Istivan Crainic saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Sagarana Clube booed when Besouro SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ademar Pinho didn't get a good kick on the ball. 24 minutes into the match, Éder Madureira notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Besouro SS's Istivan Crainic. Silas Zanette hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. 44 minutes into the game, Marco Torres cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Istivan Crainic was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Sagarana Clube's Benedito Trigo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jailson Paranaense in the 56th minute of play. Istivan Crainic made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Éder Madureira in the 58th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Éder Madureira in the 61st minute of play forced Besouro SS's goalkeeper Istivan Crainic to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benedito Trigo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jailson Paranaense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Besouro SS's Istivan Crainic got control of the ball when Éder Madureira tried to sneak it across the goal line. Yu Yang Sang kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jailson Paranaense in the 80th minute of play forced Sagarana Clube's goalkeeper Benedito Trigo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 83rd minute, Fábio da Cunha reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Istivan Crainic. The goal made the score 0-4. 86 minutes into the match, Besouro SS's goal looked a bit too open when Bruno Salles came free, but Istivan Crainic reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sagarana Clube's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
