Perivaldo Furtado helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Oiteiras getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Perivaldo Furtado hit a great ball. Daniel Linares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horacio Ponc having to interfere. Stig-Åke Molander hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Horacio Ponc showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Linares, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. In the 18th minute of the match, Daniel Linares tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Horacio Ponc saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 19th minute DJVAGALUMY FC. were awarded a corner. Aílton de Lima went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 26th minute, Humberto Rodrigues hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Horacio Ponc showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stig-Åke Molander, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. In the game's 40th minute Oiteiras's Melchor Silbestre took a hard shot from long distance, a kick which went into the net just to the right of Luís Fernando de Queiroz and thus the score was 1-2. Luís Fernando de Queiroz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daníel Dal Bello, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Rafael Veiga made the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Oiteiras defense, Benjamin Kvammen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Horacio Ponc. The Oiteiras fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Horacio Ponc should have stopped the shot. After 59 played minutes Oiteiras got a freekick which was hit by Adilson Reis. After 62 minutes of play, DJVAGALUMY FC.'s Stig-Åke Molander made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Horacio Ponc was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Vladimir do Vale in the 66th minute of play forced Oiteiras's goalkeeper Horacio Ponc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Horacio Ponc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amedeo Tofani in the 68th minute of play. Horacio Ponc didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Amedeo Tofani went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-2 was the resulting score. If Sydney Nascimento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When DJVAGALUMY FC.'s Benjamin Kvammen in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
