Edmílson Veloso came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Alfa FC's Dráuzio Ramos. But to his dismay, Dráuzio Ramos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. In the 42nd match minute, Alfa FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dráuzio Ramos to maneuver through the defense. Tiago Goiano's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Gerald Buffon firmly grabbed it by the left post. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gil Valerón in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edmílson Veloso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Edmílson Veloso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gil Valerón, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. 79 minutes into the match, Gil Valerón had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edmílson Veloso. 30 de Fevereiro's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gil Valerón was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7.
