With a little luck, Zahariz FC's Rui Liberato got control of the ball when Régis Paiva tried to sneak it across the goal line. 5 minutes into the match, Zahariz FC's goal looked a bit too open when Konstantin Ksirihi came free, but Rui Liberato reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 7th minute of the match, Konstantin Ksirihi tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Rui Liberato saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Scarlet Metal FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Konstantin Ksirihi in the 8th minute. In the 9th minute Scarlet Metal FC were awarded a corner. Konstantin Ksirihi went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Zahariz FC's goalie and right to Marco da Fonseca. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Zahariz FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Rui Liberato didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 14th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. Frederico Penha hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Régis Paiva could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Rui Liberato made a huge save. Rui Liberato was out of position in the 19 minute of play, and Régis Paiva capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Régis Paiva really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Zahariz FC's Rui Liberato played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Konstantin Ksirihi in the 22nd minute of play. Toninho Lago showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frederico Penha, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. 31 minutes into the game, Régis Paiva recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rui Liberato. Régis Paiva showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Scarlet Metal FC's Konstantin Ksirihi slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rui Liberato. That made the score 4-0 after 37 minutes of play. In the 40th minute Konstantin Ksirihi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rui Liberato saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 42 minutes into the match, Zahariz FC's goalkeeper Rui Liberato had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Régis Paiva. Stoil Belobradov kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Zahariz FC's Luizão de Mendonça got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 47th match minute, Zahariz FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvinho Veiga to maneuver through the defense.

Scarlet Metal FC's Toninho Lago proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Scarlet Metal FC from getting a goal against them. In the 54thth minute of the game Carlos Fernando Severo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Zahariz FC's Rui Liberato was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rui Liberato took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Konstantin Ksirihi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 56 minutes into the game, Régis Paiva cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Rui Liberato was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience was convinced that Konstantin Ksirihi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rui Liberato was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. Rui Liberato didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Konstantin Ksirihi went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leopoldo Gerber during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 77th minute, Konstantin Ksirihi made a precise shot to the right of Rui Liberato. Zahariz FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 9-0.
