Spectators: 7658 (Terracing: 5823, Seating: 1785, VIP seats: 50) Arrumatretas's Gino Gonçalves started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ferroviário de Tucuruí's Dedé Maranhense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dé Andrade in the 5th minute of play. In the 7th minute, Gino Gonçalves ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dedé Maranhense was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Through an outstanding action, after 14 minutes, Dedé Maranhense successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. With an all-out effort, Arrumatretas's Dedé Maranhense threw himself towards the right post 16 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Manuel Passos, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 18th match minute, Ferroviário de Tucuruí was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulisses Lago to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Anselmo Maranhense kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dedé Maranhense. That made the score 2-0 in the 19 minute of play. Iwo Karbowski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Valério Macedo went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Iwo Karbowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baltazar Cunha in the 27th minute of play. Iwo Karbowski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Valério Macedo's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. Ferroviário de Tucuruí's Dedé Maranhense proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Ferroviário de Tucuruí from getting a goal against them. After 40 played minutes Ferroviário de Tucuruí got a freekick which was hit by João Augusto Sampaio. Dedé Maranhense didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gino Gonçalves went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Dedé Maranhense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gino Gonçalves, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Dedé Maranhense made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Gino Gonçalves sent off a good shot on target. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

Dedé Maranhense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gino Gonçalves, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Dedé Maranhense was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 66th minute, Anselmo Maranhense ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dedé Maranhense was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. 70 minutes into the match, Ferroviário de Tucuruí's goal looked a bit too open when Dé Andrade came free, but Dedé Maranhense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gino Gonçalves scored 7-1 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dedé Maranhense, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Dedé Maranhense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dé Andrade, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Arrumatretas's Dé Andrade in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Glauco Alves charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Glauco Alves the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Ferroviário de Tucuruí's Glauco Alves got a free kick in the 88th minute. Dedé Maranhense came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Arrumatretas's Gino Gonçalves. But to his dismay, Gino Gonçalves quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-1. Laerte Marquez's late challenge caught a Ferroviário de Tucuruí's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Laerte Marquez helped the player get up and apologised. In the 95th match minute, Ferroviário de Tucuruí was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz Guilherme Azevedo to maneuver through the defense. There was no doubt that Arrumatretas were the better team. Arrumatretas's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
