After a rather tough play, Haridades F.C's Gerson Sarmento got a free kick in the 4th minute. Haridades F.C's Bebeto Cardoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maicon Sena in the 5th minute of play. Giovanni Corrêa who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 9thth minute tested the skills of Fausto do Valle when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Bebeto Cardoso came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Avantchê's Douglas Cardoso. But to his dismay, Douglas Cardoso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 20 minutes into the match, Maicon Sena notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Haridades F.C's Bebeto Cardoso. Bebeto Cardoso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 23 minutes, Maicon Sena made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Haridades F.C's Bebeto Cardoso tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the Haridades F.C defense, Adriano Abraão kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bebeto Cardoso. The Haridades F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bebeto Cardoso should have stopped the shot. In the 32nd minute Haridades F.C were awarded a corner. Giovanni Corrêa went to the cornerflag to take it. Sidnei Barbosa charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sidnei Barbosa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Douglas Cardoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 40 minutes, Maicon Sena managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Avantchê's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maicon Sena was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Douglas Cardoso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bebeto Cardoso having to interfere. In the 44th match minute, Avantchê was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maicon Sena to maneuver through the defense. The Haridades F.C players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Avantchê were winning 0-5.

When Giovanni Corrêa came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Haridades F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Giovanni Corrêa couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ronaldinho Xavier during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 58th minute, Ronaldinho Xavier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ronaldão Teles hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Giovanni Corrêa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fausto do Valle was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Bebeto Cardoso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Douglas Cardoso's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. Maicon Sena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gerson Sarmento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ronaldão Teles's late challenge caught a Avantchê's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ronaldão Teles helped the player get up and apologised. After 97 played minutes Haridades F.C got a freekick which was hit by Ronaldão Teles. Luiz Fernando Pernambucano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 98th minute of the match, but Bebeto Cardoso made a huge save. Avantchê's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Douglas Cardoso in the 99th minute. Avantchê's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
