The supporters of Avantchê booed when BEST FABIO F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tarcisio da Mata didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adriano Abraão came free with the goalkeeper in the 25th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ruy Cearense could save by the left post. Ruy Cearense stood somewhat misplaced when Adriano Abraão came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 28 minute. Douglas Cardoso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Ruy Cearense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. BEST FABIO F.C.'s Ruy Cearense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Douglas Cardoso in the 41st minute of play. 45 minutes into the match, Adriano Abraão had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ruy Cearense. BEST FABIO F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adriano Abraão was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rômulo dos Santos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Avantchê's Rodolfo Tasso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Avantchê from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adriano Abraão in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ruy Cearense prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tarcisio da Mata kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. BEST FABIO F.C.'s Ruy Cearense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adriano Abraão in the 58th minute of play. After 59 played minutes BEST FABIO F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Eduardo Prado. An unexpectedly hard shot by Douglas Cardoso in the 75th minute of play forced BEST FABIO F.C.'s goalkeeper Ruy Cearense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luiz Eduardo Prado hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. In the 83rdth minute of the game Luiz Fernando Pernambucano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but BEST FABIO F.C.'s Ruy Cearense was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ruy Cearense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Douglas Cardoso in the 85th minute of the match.
