Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Maicon Tinoco in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ruy Cearense prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 6 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Maicon Tinoco sped through BEST FABIO F.C.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ruy Cearense. If Flavinho Netto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 11th minute, Tony da Silveira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ruy Cearense was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 16 minutes into the match, BEST FABIO F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Tony da Silveira came free, but Ruy Cearense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 20 minutes of play, Mashoutsukai Sport Klub's Tony da Silveira made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ruy Cearense was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 23rd minute, Marcus Leão had to leave the field with a concussion. Laerte Godoi charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Laerte Godoi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Mashoutsukai Sport Klub made a substitution. Roberto Reis replaced Marcus Leão. BEST FABIO F.C.'s Ruy Cearense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tony da Silveira in the 25th minute of play. After 28 minutes of play, Mashoutsukai Sport Klub's Tony da Silveira made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ruy Cearense was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the BEST FABIO F.C. defense, Maicon Tinoco kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ruy Cearense. The BEST FABIO F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ruy Cearense should have stopped the shot. Roberto Reis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Ruy Cearense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Mashoutsukai Sport Klub booed when BEST FABIO F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tarcisio da Mata didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 39th match minute, BEST FABIO F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Laerte Godoi to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 40 minutes, Natanael Faria managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mashoutsukai Sport Klub's supporters crossed their fingers, but Natanael Faria was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 46 minutes into the game, one of BEST FABIO F.C.:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 48th minute there was a penalty for Mashoutsukai Sport Klub. Maicon Tinoco stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ruy Cearense. 0-6.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tony da Silveira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. BEST FABIO F.C.'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 61st minute, when Roberto Reis scored to the left of an out of position Ruy Cearense, making the score, 0-7. An unexpected shot in the 63rd minute by Maicon Tinoco got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 65th minute, Tony da Silveira made a precise shot to the right of Ruy Cearense. BEST FABIO F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-8. Pedro Fahl's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ruy Cearense read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. In the 74th minute, Roberto Reis reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ruy Cearense. The goal made the score 0-9. Mashoutsukai Sport Klub's Pedro Fahl got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ruy Cearense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roberto Reis in the 79th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in BEST FABIO F.C.'s zone, Pedro Fahl stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ruy Cearense came out of the goal and Pedro Fahl tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Roberto Reis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ruy Cearense made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Maicon Tinoco sent off a good shot on target. Guto Wilson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rômulo dos Santos, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Tony da Silveira's late challenge caught a BEST FABIO F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tony da Silveira helped the player get up and apologised. Tony da Silveira kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. After 95 played minutes Mashoutsukai Sport Klub got a freekick which was hit by Tony da Silveira. In the 96th minute Rômulo dos Santos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guto Wilson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mashoutsukai Sport Klub's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
