Vinícius Perez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bryan Cortés having to interfere. In the 63rd match minute, Campinense FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adalberto de Brito to maneuver through the defense. Valdir Breckenfeld charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Valdir Breckenfeld the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ruy Cearense made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Dito Mineiro sent off a good shot on target. Campinense FC played a much better game than BEST FABIO F.C. and deserved their victory. The BEST FABIO F.C. players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
