Spectators: 7764 (Terracing: 5824, Seating: 1786, VIP seats: 154) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Benjamin da Mata started the match with the kick off. Edson Maciel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramiro Novaes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Breno Vergílio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Przemyslaw Ankiewicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. After 10 played minutes ABC RN got a freekick which was hit by Marcelinho França. In the 12th minute of the match Barbieri Sports got a corner. ABC RN's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Raphael Alvarenga ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Raphael Alvarenga got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Edson Maciel quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 18th minute, Murilo Saraiva made a precise shot to the right of Edson Maciel. ABC RN's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Boruc Sokolski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Edson Maciel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 22 minutes into the match, ABC RN's goal looked a bit too open when Murilo Saraiva came free, but Edson Maciel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edson Maciel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Boruc Sokolski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 23 minutes into the game, Boruc Sokolski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Edson Maciel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 26 minutes into the match, ABC RN's goal looked a bit too open when Murilo Saraiva came free, but Edson Maciel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 27th minute, Benjamin da Mata made a precise shot to the right of Edson Maciel. ABC RN's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. In a very dangerous position, a player in ABC RN fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 32nd minute. Penalty! In the 37th minute, Benjamin da Mata left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Barbieri Sports fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-7. In the 45thth minute of the game Benjamin da Mata who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ABC RN's Edson Maciel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 46 minutes, Benjamin da Mata made it 0-9 with a short kick to the right side. ABC RN's Edson Maciel tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-9 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Przemyslaw Ankiewicz was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Murilo Saraiva in the 52nd minute of play forced ABC RN's goalkeeper Edson Maciel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Murilo Saraiva made a great header on Barbieri Sports's corner, it was just that ABC RN's Edson Maciel managed to reach the ball for a save. After 54 played minutes ABC RN got a freekick which was hit by Doriva Paraense. Murilo Saraiva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 58th minute, Benjamin da Mata reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Edson Maciel. The goal made the score 0-10. Benjamin da Mata had several of the ABC RN's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 62 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-11 score and a disappointed Edson Maciel as he didn't even see the shot coming. The crowd rose to their feet as Barbieri Sports's Murilo Saraiva slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Edson Maciel. That made the score 0-12 after 67 minutes of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 70 minutes into the game, when Luís Gustavo Vieira put in a rough tackle. 70 minutes into the game, one of ABC RN:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Edson Maciel went to the wrong direction when Raphael Alvarenga was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Murilo Saraiva might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edson Maciel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Murilo Saraiva ran back to his position shaking his head. Edson Maciel was out of position in the 80 minute of play, and Elivélton do Nascimento capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Elivélton do Nascimento really showed his touch with that goal: 0-14. After 84 minutes, Luiz Fábio Meireles mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ABC RN and the Barbieri Sports players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 84 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for ABC RN! When the match had been going on for 86 minutes, Barbieri Sports's Raphael Alvarenga got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Edson Maciel. 89 minutes into the game, Luiz Fábio Meireles threw the ball into play from the sideline. Barbieri Sports's Murilo Saraiva quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After a defensive mix-up in ABC RN's zone, Benjamin da Mata stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edson Maciel came out of the goal and Benjamin da Mata tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With his leg Edson Maciel managed to avoid a goal in the 97thth minute, when Barbieri Sports's Benjamin da Mata fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Edson Maciel was out of position in the 98 minute of play, and Benjamin da Mata capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Benjamin da Mata really showed his touch with that goal: 0-17. When the match was over Barbieri Sports could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than ABC RN throughout the match.
