Spectators: 7762 (Terracing: 5823, Seating: 1785, VIP seats: 154) Buritama Sport Club's Olívio de Lima started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 5 minutes into the game, Benjamin da Mata recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Paulo de Godoi. Benjamin da Mata showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Paulo de Godoi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benjamin da Mata in the 8th minute of the match. Murilo Saraiva was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 12th minute. Barbieri Sports's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. When the match had gone on for 14 minutes, Murilo Saraiva took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Paulo de Godoi to make any attempt to save it. After 18 minutes of play, Barbieri Sports's Benjamin da Mata made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Paulo de Godoi was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Murilo Saraiva took a quick shot and it went in 5-0 without a chance for Paulo de Godoi to make any attempt to save it. Boruc Sokolski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo de Godoi having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by João Paulo Neiva during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The audience was convinced that Benjamin da Mata's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Paulo de Godoi was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. In the 35th minute, Benjamin da Mata left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Barbieri Sports fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. After 38th play minutes Benjamin da Mata shot 7-0, a short shot which went by Paulo de Godoi and just under the crossbar into goal. Paulo de Godoi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benjamin da Mata, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Boruc Sokolski might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Paulo de Godoi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Boruc Sokolski ran back to his position shaking his head. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Benjamin da Mata in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Paulo de Godoi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Barbieri Sports's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Raphael Alvarenga in the 46th minute. The corner ended in Raphael Alvarenga almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Buritama Sport Club's Paulo de Godoi did a great save.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Benjamin da Mata to strike the kick off in the second half. Paulo de Godoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Murilo Saraiva in the 52nd minute of play. Ramiro Novaes scored 8-0 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Paulo de Godoi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 59 minutes, Murilo Saraiva managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barbieri Sports's supporters crossed their fingers, but Murilo Saraiva was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had gone on for 62 minutes, Benjamin da Mata put it in 9-0 from a short distance just to the right of Paulo de Godoi. When Boruc Sokolski came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Barbieri Sports fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Boruc Sokolski couldn't finish the play. 67 minutes into the game, Barbieri Sports's Boruc Sokolski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Paulo de Godoi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 10-0. In the 74th match minute, Buritama Sport Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Paulo Neiva to maneuver through the defense. In the 77th minute, Benjamin da Mata got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 87 minutes into the game, Barbieri Sports's Benjamin da Mata nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Paulo de Godoi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 14-0. Paulo de Godoi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benjamin da Mata, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. When the referee ended the match the Barbieri Sports players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
