Olívio de Lima started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Ulises Gutierrez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Paulo de Godoi. Buritama Sport Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ulises Gutierrez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Paulo de Godoi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Herminio Izel went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Herminio Izel received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Paulo de Godoi came out and tried to block the shot, but Herminio Izel slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 10th minute. Paulo de Godoi was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Luisinho Mangueira showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-0 in the 17 minute of play. Luisinho Mangueiras short, quick shot in the 20thth minute got Paulo de Godoi to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 24 minutes into the match, Herminio Izel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Paulo de Godoi. Luisinho Mangueira came free with the goalkeeper in the 38th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Paulo de Godoi could save by the left post. 42 minutes into the game, SPFC's Luisinho Mangueira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Paulo de Godoi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. In the 47th minute, Luisinho Mangueira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SPFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 9-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Herminio Izel to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, SPFC's Nadjib Aksan got a free kick in the 54th minute. Herminio Izel struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Paulo de Godoi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SPFC. Ernesto Prosperi scored 10-0 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Paulo de Godoi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Paulo de Godoi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pit Bull went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 11-0 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herminio Izel in the 66th minute of play forced Buritama Sport Club's goalkeeper Paulo de Godoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arnaldo Barbosa kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Pit Bull recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Paulo de Godoi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ernesto Prosperi went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 12-0 was the resulting score. Paulo de Godoi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luisinho Mangueira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 78th minute, Herminio Izel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Paulo de Godoi was frozen by the shot and now it was 13-0. After 81 played minutes Buritama Sport Club got a freekick which was hit by Fabiano Veiga. Paulo de Godoi came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by SPFC's Herminio Izel. But to his dismay, Herminio Izel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 14-0. Paulo de Godoi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luisinho Mangueira, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. In the 87th minute, Herminio Izel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SPFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 15-0. Ernesto Prosperi scored 16-0 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Paulo de Godoi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 94 minutes into the game, Ulises Gutierrez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 17-0. Paulo de Godoi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
