Dida Mazzola showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 肖宁响, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. 3 minutes into the match, SPFC's goal looked a bit too open when 肖宁响 came free, but Dida Mazzola reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 5th minute, Luisinho Mangueira reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Reynaldo Maia. The goal made the score 1-0. The supporters of SPFC booed when São Paulo da Floresta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulisses Pires didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 9th minute Herminio Izel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reynaldo Maia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Ernesto Prosperi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, São Paulo da Floresta's Raf Lanfan got a free kick in the 14th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, 肖宁响 managed to get in a good position for a shot. São Paulo da Floresta's supporters rose to their feet, but 肖宁响 was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dida Mazzola breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 24 minutes into the match, São Paulo da Floresta's goalkeeper Reynaldo Maia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luisinho Mangueira. Luisinho Mangueira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Reynaldo Maia made a huge save. Reynaldo Maia came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by SPFC's Luisinho Mangueira. But to his dismay, Luisinho Mangueira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Dida Mazzola showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raf Lanfan in the 28th minute of the match. Rodriguinho Alvarenga hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Reynaldo Maia made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Ernesto Prosperi sent off a good shot on target. 肖宁响 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 48 minutes of play, São Paulo da Floresta's 肖宁响 made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dida Mazzola was left in no man's land by his defense there! All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luisinho Mangueira made a kick off. A collision led to SPFC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Kuzey Şahinter hit a great ball. Dida Mazzola made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when 肖宁响 sent off a good shot on target. Reynaldo Maia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernesto Prosperi in the 57th minute of play. Dida Mazzola stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Raf Lanfan's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. Ernesto Prosperi scored 4-1 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Reynaldo Maia, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luisinho Mangueira in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Reynaldo Maia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 肖宁响 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when 肖宁响 got free with Dida Mazzola in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When SPFC's Ernesto Prosperi in the 76th minute got a chance for a shot 76th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye São Paulo da Floresta's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, São Paulo da Floresta's 秦克傲 got a free kick in the 77th minute. São Paulo da Floresta's João Francisco Pirani was substituted for Raf Lanfan. 秦克傲 kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Dida Mazzola showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 肖宁响 in the 80th minute of the match. SPFC's Dida Mazzola played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Francisco Pirani in the 82nd minute of play. Luisinho Mangueira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reynaldo Maia having to interfere. São Paulo da Floresta's Alex Fernandes was substituted for 崔峰泉. When the match had gone on for 90 minutes, João Francisco Pirani took a quick shot and it went in 4-2 without a chance for Dida Mazzola to make any attempt to save it. Ulises Gutierrez got a throw-in 94 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Luisinho Mangueira. A hard shot 96 in the game by Adriano Sharkin from a close distance when the talented Dida Mazzola managed to make a qualified save. SPFC's players were relieved. SPFC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
