Paulo de Godoi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Paulo de Godoi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luiz Eduardo das Neves, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. 22 minutes into the game, Luiz Eduardo das Neves cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Paulo de Godoi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Buritama Sport Club's goalkeeper Paulo de Godoi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Buritama Sport Club getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. João Paulo Neiva hit a great ball. Reynaldo Nogueira scored 3-0 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Paulo de Godoi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

In the 58th minute, Luiz Eduardo das Neves got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Paulo de Godoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Eduardo das Neves in the 60th minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Olívio de Lima could shoot a difficult shot in the 64th minute, which Hílton Dias however easily saved by the left post. In the 67th minute, Luiz Eduardo das Neves made a precise shot to the right of Paulo de Godoi. Buritama Sport Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. In the 69th minute of the game Eduardo Britto made a throw-in which Téo Amaral played forward. Paulo de Godoi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Reynaldo Nogueira went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Macumba FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
