An unexpectedly hard shot by 陆光卫 in the 45th minute of play forced Rio Brando de Andradas FC's goalkeeper Fortunato Biancone to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Rio Brando de Andradas FC's Cido Souza got a free kick in the 45th minute.

In the 94th minute, 陆光卫 ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fortunato Biancone was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-16. Verdão da Mantiqueira's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
