Wen Yin Zhen took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vladimir Costa. Vladimir Costa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Vladimir Costa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wen Yin Zhen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jarbas Siqueira hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. If Eulalio Haritzeder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Betinho de Azevedo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eulalio Haritzeder in the 24th minute. 25 minutes had been played when some careless play by Birmingham Railers FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Eulalio Haritzeder was slow to take the kick. During this time Marxistas's players had a chance to rest. Eulalio Haritzeder could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Betinho de Azevedo made a huge save. In the 29thth minute of the game Wen Yin Zhen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Marxistas's Vladimir Costa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Wen Yin Zhen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vladimir Costa was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. After 38 minutes of play, Marxistas's Jarbas Siqueira made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Betinho de Azevedo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Anakoz Amer charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anakoz Amer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 41st minute, Anakoz Amer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anakoz Amer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vladimir Costa having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. João Pedro de Amorim was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Vítor Trevisan in the 52nd minute of play forced Marxistas's goalkeeper Vladimir Costa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 53rd minute Birmingham Railers FC were awarded a corner. João Vítor Trevisan went to the cornerflag to take it. Luizão Alagoano hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. The free kick made by Birmingham Railers FC's Luizão Alagoano led to a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Marxistas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Birmingham Railers FC the free kick. In the 71st match minute, Marxistas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Pedro de Amorim to maneuver through the defense. Marxistas's Henrique Lira was substituted for Jarbas Siqueira. João Pedro de Amorim kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. The Marxistas fans' excitement grew in the 80th match minute when Marxistas's Eulalio Haritzeder looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Birmingham Railers FC made a substitution. Arthur de Castro replaced Jacek Bartocha. If Eulalio Haritzeder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 89 minutes into the match, Eulalio Haritzeder notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Birmingham Railers FC's Betinho de Azevedo. Betinho de Azevedo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ruy Correia in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vladimir Costa saved Marxistas from getting behind. For all the effort they put into the match, the Birmingham Railers FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Marxistas.
