Geovanni Mineiro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luís de Brito went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. A collision led to Bem Bolado getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Carlos Augusto Neto hit a great ball. José Maria Branco was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Ivo Bastos. Marcel Sanches took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Geovanni Mineiro. Geovanni Mineiro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. After a rather tough play, Bem Bolado's Luís de Brito got a free kick in the 15th minute. In the 17th minute Marcel Sanches shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geovanni Mineiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcel Sanches scored 0-5 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Geovanni Mineiro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Marcel Sanches sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 26th minute, Marcelinho do Valle left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bem Bolado fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. Geovanni Mineiro came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Bem Bolado's Luís de Brito. But to his dismay, Luís de Brito quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. After 34 minutes of play, Bem Bolado's Marcelinho do Valle made it 0-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Geovanni Mineiro was left in no man's land by his defense there! 45 minutes into the game, Bem Bolado's Pedro Teixeira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Geovanni Mineiro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-9. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-9 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marcel Sanches stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Víktor Figueiredo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. José Maria Branco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice moves Pedro Teixeira could shoot a difficult shot in the 56th minute, which Geovanni Mineiro however easily saved by the left post. Geovanni Mineiro came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Bem Bolado's Pedro Teixeira. But to his dismay, Pedro Teixeira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-11. When the match had gone on for 59 minutes, Marcel Sanches took a quick shot and it went in 0-12 without a chance for Geovanni Mineiro to make any attempt to save it. The crowd rose to their feet as Luís de Brito kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Geovanni Mineiro. That made the score 0-13 in the 63 minute of play. In the 66th minute, Bem Bolado's Pedro Teixeira ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Geovanni Mineiro. Geovanni Mineiro yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-14. 68 minutes into the match, Estrela da Manhã -DMZ-'s goalkeeper Geovanni Mineiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcel Sanches. Estrela da Manhã -DMZ-'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 69th minute, when Pedro Teixeira scored to the left of an out of position Geovanni Mineiro, making the score, 0-15. 72 minutes into the game, Bem Bolado's Marcelinho do Valle nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Geovanni Mineiro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-16. In the 76th minute, Marcel Sanches made a precise shot to the right of Geovanni Mineiro. Estrela da Manhã -DMZ-'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-17. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luís de Brito got free with Geovanni Mineiro in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Geovanni Mineiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcel Sanches in the 83rd minute of play. Geovanni Mineiro was out of position in the 88 minute of play, and Pedro Teixeira capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Pedro Teixeira really showed his touch with that goal: 0-19. 91 minutes into the match, Marcel Sanches notched a goal, 0-20, to the right of Estrela da Manhã -DMZ-'s Geovanni Mineiro. Geovanni Mineiro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
