The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tomás Koehler during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 10 played minutes Aguias Praianas FC got a freekick which was hit by Tomás Koehler. After 20 played minutes Aguias Praianas FC got a freekick which was hit by Gil Ponta. Cosme Pere took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wasyl Lemiesz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cosme Pere showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wasyl Lemiesz in the 26th minute of the match. Deivid Barros kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Olimpia's Wambasther Navas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomás Koehler in the 28th minute of play. Cosme Pere made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wasyl Lemiesz in the 30th minute of play. If Wasyl Lemiesz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Angelo Varela got free with Wambasther Navas in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cosme Pere made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wasyl Lemiesz in the 40th minute of play. In the 42nd match minute, Olimpia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Murilo Rodrigues to maneuver through the defense. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wasyl Lemiesz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Wasyl Lemiesz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cosme Pere was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. Cosme Pere showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wasyl Lemiesz in the 57th minute of the match. Avram Iordache recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind Aguias Praianas FC's goalkeeper Cosme Pere, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Wasyl Lemiesz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cosme Pere having to interfere. In the 73rd minute Olimpia were awarded a corner. Deivid Barros went to the cornerflag to take it. Olimpia's Deivid Barros was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Cosme Pere in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wasyl Lemiesz in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cosme Pere saved Aguias Praianas FC from getting behind. In the 77th minute of the match, Wasyl Lemiesz tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Cosme Pere saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 78 minutes into the match, Olimpia's Wasyl Lemiesz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cosme Pere narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 81st minute, Gil Ponta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Angelo Varela received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Wambasther Navas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 88th match minute, Aguias Praianas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andrézinho Palmeira to maneuver through the defense. Deivid Barros, 89 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After 90 played minutes Olimpia got a freekick which was hit by Benedito Ramalho. Aguias Praianas FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Wasyl Lemiesz 92 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-2. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Olimpia had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
