Donato Botelho scored 0-5 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Adelino Seco, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Adelino Seco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donato Botelho in the 26th minute of the match. In the 27th minute, SW Dragon's Afonso Trigo seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Afonso Trigo the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of SW Dragon protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Afonso Trigo had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Afonso Trigo hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Adelino Seco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donato Botelho, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. In the 40th match minute, SW Dragon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexandre Breckenfeld to maneuver through the defense. After 41 played minutes Rua Ferreira Viana F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Wincent Wydrych. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Paulo Cunha in the 43rd minute of play forced Rua Ferreira Viana F.C.'s goalkeeper Tomé Oliveira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adelino Seco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Téo Campidelis in the 45th minute of play. When Osvaldinho Branco fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SW Dragon's protests and gave Osvaldinho Branco a yellow card for diving instead. Osvaldinho Branco hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. João Paulo Cunha was the one to do the kick off. SW Dragon's Adelino Seco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caco Guimarães in the 71st minute of play. When the match was over Rua Ferreira Viana F.C. could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than SW Dragon throughout the match.
