In the 48th minute, Pedro de Toledo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Capitillo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3.

After some careless play in the Chapadao Rs defense, Horácio Siqueira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Diguinho Vaz. Pedro de Toledo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 67thth minute tested the skills of Julio Capitillo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pedro de Toledo got free with Julio Capitillo in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 72 minutes into the match, Chapadao Rs's goal looked a bit too open when Horácio Siqueira came free, but Diguinho Vaz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nico Falcão in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Diguinho Vaz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Diguinho Vaz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Horácio Siqueira in the 95th minute of the match. Chapadao Rs succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though TIGRE DE OURO had controlled the match.
