Marquez Padolles received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Faustão Cosme came out and tried to block the shot, but Marquez Padolles slotted it home off the left post making it 7-0 in the 42nd minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fausto Romero to make the kick off.
