Spectators: 7713 (Terracing: 5786, Seating: 1774, VIP seats: 153) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Fausto Romero kicked off to start the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fausto Romero in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Osmar Rossi saved Jataí from getting behind. With a little luck, Jataí's Osmar Rossi got control of the ball when Daniel Garcia tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Evaristo Montenegro kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Osmar Rossi. That made the score 1-0 in the 13 minute of play. Osmar Rossi made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Carlos Eduardo Dracena sent off a good shot on target. 37 minutes into the match, Jataí's goal looked a bit too open when Evaristo Montenegro came free, but Osmar Rossi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Coritiba Foot Ball Club's Thiago Machado was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 44th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. A collision led to Jataí getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Lino Eneas hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Jataí's Lino Eneas got a free kick in the 50th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. José Paulo Senna was the one to do the kick off. After 56 played minutes Coritiba Foot Ball Club got a freekick which was hit by Thiago Machado. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Thiago Machado in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Osmar Rossi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 62nd minute, Nico Hülkenberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thiago Machado in the 64th minute of play forced Jataí's goalkeeper Osmar Rossi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Osmar Rossi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fausto Romero, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Coritiba Foot Ball Club's Marquez Padolles was substituted for Thiago Machado. 69 minutes into the match, Marquez Padolles notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Jataí's Osmar Rossi. Osmar Rossi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 74th minute of the match Evaristo Montenegro shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Osmar Rossi showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Marquez Padolles scored 4-0 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Osmar Rossi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marquez Padolles in the 85th minute of play forced Jataí's goalkeeper Osmar Rossi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fausto Romero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Osmar Rossi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 90th minute of the game Ubaldo Egoitz made a throw-in which Evaristo Montenegro played forward. In the 94th minute, Marquez Padolles made a precise shot to the right of Osmar Rossi. Jataí's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. Marquez Padolles took the ball and in the 98 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Osmar Rossi. Osmar Rossi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-1. Coritiba Foot Ball Club were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Jataí for a fine match.
