The PORTUGUESA-RJ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Loramendi Cabarcos should have stopped the shot. João Vítor da Mata recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Agnaldo Souto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Loramendi Cabarcos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. Loramendi Cabarcos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agnaldo Souto in the 32nd minute of play. Loramendi Cabarcos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agnaldo Souto, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Agnaldo Souto made a great header on Real Knit United's corner, it was just that PORTUGUESA-RJ's Loramendi Cabarcos managed to reach the ball for a save. Serafim Bastos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 74th minute Agnaldo Souto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Loramendi Cabarcos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
