With 3 minutes on the clock, Fellipe Velloso commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 2nd minute, one of Torreão OFF:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Torreão OFF. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, João Vítor da Mata managed to get in a good position for a shot. Real Knit United's supporters rose to their feet, but João Vítor da Mata was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adilson Lopez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Adilson Lopez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Vítor da Mata in the 10th minute of the match. 13 minutes into the game, Real Knit United's Agnaldo Souto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Adilson Lopez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Vítor da Mata in the 15th minute of play forced Torreão OFF's goalkeeper Adilson Lopez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adilson Lopez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agnaldo Souto, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Real Knit United's Agnaldo Souto got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 21 minutes into the match, Torreão OFF's goal looked a bit too open when Agnaldo Souto came free, but Adilson Lopez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adilson Lopez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agnaldo Souto in the 23rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, João Vítor da Mata managed to get in a good position for a shot. Real Knit United's supporters rose to their feet, but João Vítor da Mata was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adilson Lopez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Torreão OFF fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 25th minute. Penalty! 33 minutes into the match, Agnaldo Souto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Adilson Lopez. Torreão OFF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Agnaldo Souto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Torreão OFF's Adilson Lopez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Vítor da Mata in the 36th minute of play. Adilson Lopez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agnaldo Souto in the 40th minute of the match. João Vítor da Mata recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Agnaldo Souto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adilson Lopez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agnaldo Souto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Agnaldo Souto scored 0-5 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Adilson Lopez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Agnaldo Souto made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Agnaldo Souto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Adilson Lopez was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. João Vítor da Mata fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adilson Lopez having to interfere. With his leg Adilson Lopez managed to avoid a goal in the 60thth minute, when Real Knit United's João Vítor da Mata fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 61 minutes into the game, João Vítor da Mata cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-7. Adilson Lopez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 64 minutes into the match, Torreão OFF's goal looked a bit too open when Agnaldo Souto came free, but Adilson Lopez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 68th minute, Real Knit United's João Vítor da Mata dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-8. Real Knit United's Dida Gerber was substituted for Doriva Recife. Real Knit United made a substitution. Dedé Pinheiro replaced João Vítor da Mata. Dedé Pinheiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 79 minutes into the match, Torreão OFF's goal looked a bit too open when Agnaldo Souto came free, but Adilson Lopez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Real Knit United were awarded a corner in the 81th minute after Torreão OFF's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Agnaldo Souto took the corner. In the 83rd minute Dedé Pinheiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adilson Lopez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luizão de Moraes hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Adilson Lopez came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Real Knit United's Agnaldo Souto. But to his dismay, Agnaldo Souto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-9. Real Knit United's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
