Bebeto Sarmento took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Claudinei Alvarenga. Claudinei Alvarenga dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Neymar Junior sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 24th minute Lion Messi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudinei Alvarenga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anísio Queirós came free with the goalkeeper in the 30th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Claudinei Alvarenga could save by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sandrinho Tavares in the 33rd minute of play forced Torreão OFF's goalkeeper Claudinei Alvarenga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 36 minutes into the match, Torreão OFF's goalkeeper Claudinei Alvarenga had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Neymar Junior. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Neymar Junior was the one to do the kick off. Claudinei Alvarenga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Neymar Junior, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Geovani Araújo charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Geovani Araújo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
