In the 26th match minute, PORTUGUESA-RJ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Neymar Junior to maneuver through the defense. The PORTUGUESA-RJ fans' excitement grew in the 37th match minute when PORTUGUESA-RJ's Neymar Junior looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Lion Messi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of PORTUGUESA-RJ booed when Padilha was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilton de Barros didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 79 minutes, Neymar Junior made it 0-8 with a short kick to the right side. Padilha's Falcão da Silva tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Vicente Soeiro managed to get in a good position for a shot.
