Luiz Eduardo Nunes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Reinaldo Faria made a huge save. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Betinho Ferreira might have been able to make a better finish in the 98th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Reinaldo Faria. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Betinho Ferreira ran back to his position shaking his head. Clube Paulista da Mooca's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
