A very good chance. 13 minutes into the match, MM g's Gilvan Brito sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Şerif Çetinay narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Noia's Doug Gol got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Noia's Şerif Çetinay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliseu Zonta in the 16th minute of play. Mathias Leme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silviu Miclea in the 17th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Silviu Miclea's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mathias Leme was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. Mathias Leme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maurinho Valle, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in MM g's zone, Doug Gol stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mathias Leme came out of the goal and Doug Gol tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, MM g's Luisão Trevisan got a free kick in the 36th minute. The MM g players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Noia were winning 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gabriel Paes was the one to do the kick off. Mathias Leme showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fellipe Meirelles in the 58th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Maurinho Valle got free with Mathias Leme in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The throw-in from Ernani Velloso in the 69th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by MM g's Luisão Trevisan. Gilvan Brito's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Şerif Çetinay read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. Şerif Çetinay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseu Zonta in the 77th minute of play. A collision led to Noia getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Gláuber Porto hit a great ball. In the 80th minute Gilvan Brito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Şerif Çetinay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Noia's zone, Gilvan Brito stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Şerif Çetinay came out of the goal and Gilvan Brito tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 86 played minutes Noia got a freekick which was hit by Ernani Velloso. Gilvan Brito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Şerif Çetinay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Silviu Miclea could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Mathias Leme made a huge save. 94 minutes into the match, Noia's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriel Paes came free, but Şerif Çetinay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
