Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 150) The Gru Futebol Clube fans' excitement grew in the 8th match minute when Gru Futebol Clube's Waldir Mandrak looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The supporters of As de Ouro booed when Gru Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jailson da Mata didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ionel Dănciulescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isaac Ciceron having to interfere. Elias Nunes hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Isaac Ciceron showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ionel Dănciulescu in the 16th minute of the match. After 20 played minutes Waldir Mandrak could catch the ball where he stood relatively free a bit outside the goal and without hesitation he completed 2-0 into the left cross. After some careless play in the As de Ouro defense, Waldir Mandrak kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Samuca Lara. The As de Ouro fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Samuca Lara should have stopped the shot. If Waldir Mandrak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 33 minutes into the match, Sydney Dracena notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of As de Ouro's Samuca Lara. Samuca Lara was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Samuca Lara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Waldir Mandrak in the 36th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Waldir Mandrak in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Samuca Lara prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Isaac Ciceron stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ionel Dănciulescu's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. In the 40th minute of the match As de Ouro got a corner. Gru Futebol Clube's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luís Fernando Zanette ran over to the corner to take the kick.

Samuca Lara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Waldir Mandrak in the 51st minute of play. Sydney Dracena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 57th minute, Sydney Dracena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Isaac Ciceron took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ionel Dănciulescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Gru Futebol Clube's Waldir Mandrak in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The referee ignored Gru Futebol Clube's protests and gave Dito Saldanha a yellow card for diving instead. Dito Saldanha hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. If Ionel Dănciulescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 85 minutes into the match, Gru Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Ionel Dănciulescu came free, but Isaac Ciceron reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ionel Dănciulescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Isaac Ciceron tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 91st match minute, As de Ouro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nestor Koehler to maneuver through the defense. Samuca Lara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Waldir Mandrak in the 92nd minute of play. Sydney Dracena blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Samuca Lara having to make a save.
