Laerte Brito dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Dagoberto Siqueira struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Jacinto Mazza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Laerte Brito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Válbson Rosa in the 77th minute of the match. If Jacinto Mazza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Laerte Brito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacinto Mazza, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. With a little luck, Clube Atlético Lençoense's Paulinho Breckenfeld got control of the ball when Chiquinho Vander tried to sneak it across the goal line.
