Tiago Pires came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Tio Patinhas's Geraldo Miranda. But to his dismay, Geraldo Miranda quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Tiago Pires didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Walmir Peres went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Geraldo Miranda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 17th minute Geraldo Miranda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiago Pires saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 20th minute, Geraldo Miranda ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tiago Pires was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. In the 22nd minute, Paulo Renato Valladares ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tiago Pires was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Tio Patinhas's Geraldo Miranda got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Geraldo Miranda's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tiago Pires was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. In the 29th minute, Walmir Peres got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tiago Pires came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Tio Patinhas's Geraldo Miranda. But to his dismay, Geraldo Miranda quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. 37 minutes into the game, Tio Patinhas's Walmir Peres nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tiago Pires made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. Tiago Pires took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geraldo Miranda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Geraldo Miranda managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tio Patinhas's supporters rose to their feet, but Geraldo Miranda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tiago Pires breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-6 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Durval Santana was the one to do the kick off. Tiago Pires showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geraldo Miranda in the 53rd minute of the match. 58 minutes in the game, Geraldo Miranda fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Tiago Pires having to interfere. Geraldo Miranda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiago Pires having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Cambe SS's Fellipe Alcântara got a free kick in the 70th minute. In the 71st minute, Geraldo Miranda got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Durval Santana hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. In the 74th minute, Tio Patinhas's Geraldo Miranda ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tiago Pires. Tiago Pires yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-8. Geraldo Miranda struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Tiago Pires didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tio Patinhas. Tio Patinhas's Geraldo Miranda got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tio Patinhas's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
