The referee ignored BR City FC's protests and gave Luiz Gustavo de Amorim a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to BR City FC getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Luiz Gustavo de Amorim hit a great ball. 6 minutes into the game, Pastor Arnalt was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Alegrense Futebol Clube's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave BR City FC the free kick. With a little luck, BR City FC's Daniel Monteiro got control of the ball when Selçuk Pozan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Daniel Monteiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alegrense Futebol Clube. The crowd rose to their feet as Alegrense Futebol Clube's Alberto Loureiro slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Daniel Monteiro. That made the score 1-0 after 25 minutes of play. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Selçuk Pozan put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Daniel Monteiro. Selçuk Pozan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 36 minutes into the match, BR City FC's goalkeeper Daniel Monteiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alberto Loureiro. After a rather tough play, BR City FC's Nicolas Trancoso got a free kick in the 38th minute. Cássio Amaral had in the 44thth minute some difficulties stopping Nicolas Trancoso's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 44th minute, Nicolas Trancoso ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cássio Amaral was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The wind increased when Luiz Gustavo de Amorim made the kick off in the second half. Daniel Monteiro came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Alegrense Futebol Clube's Alex Figueiredo. But to his dismay, Alex Figueiredo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Alegrense Futebol Clube's Selçuk Pozan got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Alegrense Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Selçuk Pozan hit a great ball. 72 minutes into the game, Alegrense Futebol Clube's Selçuk Pozan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Daniel Monteiro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. Daniel Monteiro came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Alegrense Futebol Clube's Alex Figueiredo. But to his dismay, Alex Figueiredo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-1. A sloppy throw-in by Leonardo Machado in the 81st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Alegrense Futebol Clube's Jaime Teles. Alex Figueiredo scored 8-1 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Daniel Monteiro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Alegrense Futebol Clube fully deserved thier win.
