Spectators: 7747 (Terracing: 5812, Seating: 1781, VIP seats: 154) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Lino Berger started the match with the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lucila De la Rosa during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 9th minute, Lucila De la Rosa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. REAL VASCO RIO's Cristóvão Melo got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Didi Lima made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedrão Souza in the 11th minute of play. Percival Prestes came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Meia Ronda's Lino Berger. But to his dismay, Lino Berger quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 23 minutes into the game, Sílvio Luiz de Lima recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Percival Prestes. Sílvio Luiz de Lima showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Percival Prestes was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Lino Berger showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 26 minute of play. Percival Prestes came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Meia Ronda's Sílvio Luiz de Lima. But to his dismay, Sílvio Luiz de Lima quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lino Berger in the 38th minute of play forced REAL VASCO RIO's goalkeeper Percival Prestes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. José Pedro Simão made in the 41st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Meia Ronda's Luís Guilherme Damião. Percival Prestes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Guilherme Damião in the 42nd minute of play. Didi Lima took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emerson Trevisan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Meia Ronda's Didi Lima played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emerson Trevisan in the 46th minute of play.

The wind increased when Eriberto Sergipano made the kick off in the second half. Lino Berger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Percival Prestes having to interfere. In the 55th minute, Sílvio Luiz de Lima ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Percival Prestes was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Meia Ronda made a substitution. Dadá de Moraes replaced Luís Guilherme Damião. In the 59th minute, José Pedro Simão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gilvan Tavares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Percival Prestes having to interfere. 70 minutes into the match, Meia Ronda's goal looked a bit too open when Pedrão Souza came free, but Didi Lima reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Meia Ronda getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Pedrinho Trancoso hit a great ball. Percival Prestes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilvan Tavares, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Ricardo Cosme charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ricardo Cosme the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ricardo Cosme hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. After 78 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for REAL VASCO RIO! The referee gave Meia Ronda a penalty, 79 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Sílvio Luiz de Lima, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of REAL VASCO RIO's Percival Prestes. 6-0. Percival Prestes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sílvio Luiz de Lima in the 83rd minute of play. Percival Prestes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sílvio Luiz de Lima in the 87th minute of the match. In the 90th minute, Durvalino Sarmento hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Gilvan Tavares's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Percival Prestes was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. Meia Ronda's Didi Lima proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Meia Ronda from getting a goal against them. There was no doubt that Meia Ronda were the better team. Meia Ronda's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
