In the 21st minute, Nitra FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Marco Fonseca fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When Gogo Eneko came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Nitra FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gogo Eneko couldn't finish the play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marco Fonseca was the one to do the kick off. A nice corner shot did that Benê Capixaba got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jerônimo Maranhense quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Jerônimo Maranhense stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marco Fonseca's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. Dino Teles hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Karl Maubert made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Nando Pinho sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jonathan da Cunha in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Karl Maubert saved MILAN F C from getting behind. Nando Pinho might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Karl Maubert. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nando Pinho ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 90th minute, Octav Novac hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benê Capixaba struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Jerônimo Maranhense didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MILAN F C. 93 minutes into the match, Nitra FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marco Fonseca came free, but Jerônimo Maranhense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 96 minutes had been played when some careless play by Nitra FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Benê Capixaba was slow to take the kick. During this time MILAN F C's players had a chance to rest. When the final whistle sounded Nitra FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than MILAN F C.
