Waldemar Mangueira scored 1-0 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Durval da Costa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Frederico Ortiz fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ＰＡＣＨＥＣＯＥＮＳＥ's protests and gave Frederico Ortiz a yellow card for diving instead. It was a penalty for Warriors Máfia! Warriors Máfia:s Durval da Costa showed great skill when he stopped Ronaldão Machado:s penalty. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Mario Alberto Kempes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Warriors Máfia's supporters rose to their feet, but Mario Alberto Kempes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Segundo Tiso made a kick off. Warriors Máfia's Durval da Costa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Segundo Tiso in the 57th minute of play. In the 58th minute Segundo Tiso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Durval da Costa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Warriors Máfia walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
