Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Hugo da Silveira made the kick off and thus started the match. Kaká Porto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Francisco Novaes in the 5th minute of the match. Kaká Porto came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Paulista Futebol Clube's Basílio Mesquita. But to his dismay, Basílio Mesquita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 12 minutes into the match, Lobzeiro's goal looked a bit too open when Ramiro do Nascimento came free, but Kaká Porto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lobzeiro's Gonçalo de Azevedo got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 15 minutes into the game, Emerson Pereira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lobzeiro's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Paulista Futebol Clube the free kick. The supporters of Paulista Futebol Clube booed when Lobzeiro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emerson Pereira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zeca Pereira kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. 20 minutes into the match, Hugo da Silveira notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Lobzeiro's Kaká Porto. Kaká Porto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Zé Augusto Loureiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Guilherme Moura having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Lobzeiro's Gonçalo de Azevedo got a free kick in the 25th minute. Wilian de Souza who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 28thth minute tested the skills of Luís Guilherme Moura when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 29th minute, Tiaguinho Paraense ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kaká Porto was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. After having played for 35 minutes, Emerson Pereira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lobzeiro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emerson Pereira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 36 played minutes Paulista Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Délio de Sousa. Emerson Pereira kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Luís Guilherme Moura took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilian de Souza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kaká Porto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Basílio Mesquita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 45th minute Hugo da Silveira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kaká Porto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zé Augusto Loureiro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Luís Guilherme Moura made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zé Augusto Loureiro in the 52nd minute of play. In the 54th minute, Tiaguinho Paraense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zé Augusto Loureiro, 55 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Basílio Mesquita in the 56th minute of play forced Lobzeiro's goalkeeper Kaká Porto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Lobzeiro's zone, Hugo da Silveira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kaká Porto came out of the goal and Hugo da Silveira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zé Augusto Loureiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Lobzeiro's Kaká Porto got control of the ball when João Francisco Novaes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Basílio Mesquita scored 1-4 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kaká Porto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If João Francisco Novaes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Wilian de Souza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kaká Porto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 85th minute, Paulista Futebol Clube's João Francisco Novaes ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Kaká Porto. Kaká Porto yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-6. João Francisco Novaes received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Kaká Porto came out and tried to block the shot, but João Francisco Novaes slotted it home off the left post making it 1-7 in the 88th minute. Lobzeiro's Kaká Porto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hugo da Silveira in the 93rd minute of play. The Lobzeiro supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Paulista Futebol Clube's performance. The match ended with a win for Paulista Futebol Clube.
