If Franklin Velasco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, União da Mata's Bruninho Azevedo got control of the ball when Eduino Provencio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Kristofer Sõnajalg charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kristofer Sõnajalg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to União da Mata getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kristofer Sõnajalg was the one to do the kick off. Cauan Botelho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Clube Esportivo Aimoré's goalkeeper Waldir Seco, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Franklin Velasco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bruninho Azevedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Franklin Velasco in the 86th minute of the match.
