After 4 played minutes, JotaPaTos's Giovanni Xavier shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Beto Vides came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in JotaPaTos reached it. In the 9th minute Álvaro Eger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edu Motta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Douglas de Brito hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Guga Seco's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 15thth minute, Beto Vides skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Álvaro Eger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Beto Vides stood somewhat misplaced when Guga Seco came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 22 minute. Guga Seco did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Beto Vides 25 minutes into the match. In the 28th minute, JotaPaTos's Guga Seco ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Beto Vides. Beto Vides yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. In the 31stth minute of the game Guga Seco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gruna's Beto Vides was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When JotaPaTos's Guga Seco in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gruna's goalie prevented a goal. Igor Rabelo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Edu Motta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 36th minute, JotaPaTos's Guga Seco dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. In the 43rd match minute, Gruna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Túlio Teles to maneuver through the defense. Guga Seco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Beto Vides tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 49 played minutes JotaPaTos got a freekick which was hit by Romário Furtado.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Túlio Teles was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the game, JotaPaTos's Caetano Tróia nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Beto Vides made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. In the 57th minute, Álvaro Eger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Guga Seco succeeded in the game's 58th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 6-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Guga Seco in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Beto Vides saved Gruna from getting behind. In the 64th minute, Caetano Tróia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The JotaPaTos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. Caetano Tróia took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Beto Vides. Beto Vides dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. Douglas de Brito got his second yellow card in the match during the 79th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 81st match minute, Gruna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Douglas de Brito to maneuver through the defense. 82 minutes into the match, Gruna's goal looked a bit too open when Guga Seco came free, but Beto Vides reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 88 minutes into the match, Guga Seco notched a goal, 10-0, to the right of Gruna's Beto Vides. Beto Vides was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Guga Seco in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Beto Vides saved Gruna from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Guga Seco managed to get in a good position for a shot. JotaPaTos's supporters rose to their feet, but Guga Seco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Beto Vides breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Túlio Teles was extremely unlucky when he, in the 97th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out.
