The Lobzeiro fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kaká Porto should have stopped the shot. Umberto Alves scored 7-1 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kaká Porto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Kaká Porto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Umberto Alves, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. When Gonçalo de Azevedo fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lobzeiro's protests and gave Gonçalo de Azevedo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 77th match minute, Lobzeiro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gonçalo de Azevedo to maneuver through the defense. Simão Schmidt kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Zeca Pereira hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. In the 88th minute, Simão da Silveira made a precise shot to the right of Kaká Porto. Lobzeiro's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 9-1. Gonçalo de Azevedo hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. In the 93rd minute, Simão da Silveira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kaká Porto was frozen by the shot and now it was 10-1. Lobzeiro's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
