Umberto Alves blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Beto Vides having to make a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sebastião Pires during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Simão da Silveira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Beto Vides read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. Real Brasil F.C.'s Umberto Alves got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Douglas de Brito kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Túlio Teles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Umberto Alves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Lenílson Vianna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Álvaro Eger in the 32nd minute of play. Umberto Alves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lenílson Vianna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Igor Rabelo in the 38th minute of play. A collision led to Real Brasil F.C. getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Abel Rosado hit a great ball. If Álvaro Eger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 42 minutes into the game, Hélio Arósio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Real Brasil F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gruna the free kick. A collision led to Real Brasil F.C. getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Hélio Arósio hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Álvaro Eger managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gruna's supporters rose to their feet, but Álvaro Eger was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lenílson Vianna breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Túlio Teles to strike the kick off in the second half. Emerson Vander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Hélio Arósio hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Umberto Alves's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Beto Vides read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Túlio Teles in the 64th minute of play forced Real Brasil F.C.'s goalkeeper Lenílson Vianna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 72nd match minute, Gruna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Túlio Teles to maneuver through the defense. Túlio Teles's late challenge caught a Real Brasil F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Túlio Teles helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Real Brasil F.C. booed when Gruna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Túlio Teles didn't get a good kick on the ball. 76 minutes into the game, Real Brasil F.C.'s Umberto Alves nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Beto Vides made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Beto Vides came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Real Brasil F.C.'s Simão da Silveira. But to his dismay, Simão da Silveira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. In the 85th minute, Emerson Vander left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Real Brasil F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. After a rather tough play, Real Brasil F.C.'s Wilton Luz got a free kick in the 87th minute. Lenílson Vianna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Túlio Teles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Umberto Alves took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Beto Vides. Beto Vides dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. Lenílson Vianna made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Álvaro Eger sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Real Brasil F.C.'s Caetano Arósio got a free kick in the 95th minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Real Brasil F.C. had won after a very even match.
